Hello, My name is Ellen.
I opened Preferential Cleaning Services with my sister Heather in January 2000. We were always close, and we wanted to expand our relationship together by starting a business. We both loved cleaning, so this was a no-brainer.
During the first couple of months our business took off and we were at the point where we could hire. The first employee we hired was a young Hungarian girl by the name of Klara.
Unfortunately, my sister Heather passed away 1 year after we opened. I was devastated to say the least, as she was my world.
Klara became my rock. She kept me and the business going with her loyalty and her hard work. Klara has stood by me and Preferential Cleaning since the beginning. We officially became partners in 2003. She soon inherited the nickname “Hawkeye” as she has a sharp eye for detail and doesn’t miss a thing.
Covid has been a very big challenge for everyone. Us included… We have implemented PPE since the beginning and will continue until we can one day hopefully say goodbye to this pandemic.
We both love our business and would love the opportunity to come in and put “the shine” back into your lives.
